Wednesday, 8/23: 1. American History Timeline - Review and a look at what is to come
In small groups, students will attempt to put their events in chronological order. At the end of time, they will see the answers one-by-one, getting a point for each correct (if 2 are in order but 1 off, they get 1/2 point each). Winners have the most correct in the chronology.
2. American History through maps review up to this point. No notes. Just take it in to get us to the point where we need to be.
Thursday, 8/24: Destruction Pictures: Groups will discuss and decide what needs to be reconstructed. Groups will give one until we get a master list. This is what the focus will be of Reconstruction.

Wednesday, 8/30: 1. Discussion: What are the effects of these early plans on blacks in the South?

2. Impeachment of Andrew Johnson: A little background to understand the process. Answer the questions. Then you get to make a judgment.
Monday, 9/4: Labor Day - No School
