Monday, 4/17:  1. Begin the wrap-up of end of WWI - watch and take notes from THIS in your notebook up until the parts of the Treaty of Versailles. At that point, you will fill in the front page of the assignment 'Treaty of Versailles (1919)' and the top part of the second page.

Monday, 4/24:  1. Watch an overview of the Rise of Hitler

Tuesday, 4/25:   1. Fascism reading + Questions 

2. Intro - Nazification of a country

Wednesday, 4/26:  1. Grade 'What is Fascism?'

2. Causes of WWII through documents. Complete the chart using the documents to understand why WWII broke out. Documents 1-2

Thursday, 4/27:  1. Do 3 - Anschluss, 4 - Czech & Sudetenland 

Friday, 4/28:  1. Finish FAM-N Chart with Docs. 5 & 6

2. Review of Anschluss and Czech with Hitler and lead up to WWII. Complete Leaders and Alliances of WWII.

Monday, 5/1:  1. Notes on Hitler in power and fall

2. Do alliances and leaders of WWII

Tuesday, 5/2:  1. Intro to the Rise of Japan.

2. 'Japan Invades China - Beginnings of WWII' EdPuzzle posted on Classroom for those who were absent.

Wednesday, 5/3:  1. Build-up of WWII - label and start timeline up to WWII.

Thursday, 5/4:  1. Causes of WWII Quiz

2. Map + Timeline of WWII - Pacific - through build up of empire; Europe - through invasion of Poland and Nazi-Soviet Non-Agression Pact

Friday, 5/5:  1. Begin the war with the Invasion of Poland video quiz

2. Map + Timeline of WWII:  European Theatre up thru Battle of Britain

Monday, 5/8:  1. Map + Timeline Notes through Operation Barbarossa (Battle of Britain)

Tuesday, 5/9:  1. Video quiz over the Siege of Leningrad/Eastern Front - posted on Classroom

2. US enters the war in N. Africa

Wednesday, 5/10:  1. Started with a review of Barbarossa and watched this about the Siege of Leningrad & looked at historical photos of this horrific 2+ year battle

Thursday, 5/11:  1. Watch the Battle of Stalingrad

Friday, 5/12:  1. Holocaust Notes - make a copy of THIS to create notes. Listen to the lecture and take notes from HERE

Monday, 5/15:  1. From the Holocaust notes, we begin the document analysis where we will put different documents in categories. These documents show many stories of people involved in the Holocaust. Categorize the document/story into the type of people:  Victim, Perpetrator (carries out the Holocaust), Bystander (knows/see but does nothing), Rescuer. Then list the details from each document that helped you to put it in that category = evidence.

Tuesday, 5/16:  1. Review the flow of the war and dates.

2. Work on Holocaust documents analysis. Due to Classroom.
