Monday
Language Arts- Write each spelling word three times each.
- Complete the Build Reflect Write page
- Do all sections except "Choose your Topic" section
- Write a five sentence essay paragraph for the Research and writing section.

Social Studies - Continue working on Native Americans of California Social Studies Project (please save all of your notes and sentences for our project)
- Now that you have chosen your tribe. (Search online as this is an online research report)
- Write three sentences discussing the type of clothing the people in your tribe wore. Be sure to describe what materials they used to make their clothing, why they made this type of clothing and why it was useful for them.

Language Arts- Write a sentence with 10 spelling words (At least 8 words in each sentence and each one written clearly and neatly..
- A prefix is a syllable or word which is added to the beginning of a word to change the meaning of the word,
- Look up 5 prefixes online and add them to a base word to create a new word . Then use each new word in a sentence.
3, Read "Lazy Harry"- Read paragraphs 1 to 8. Write three sentences describing Harry. What adjectives would you use to describe him as a character? What choice does Harry make in these paragraphs? What is the result of his choice?
Exercise- Freeze dance: Play music then have someone turn the music on and off. When the music stops, freeze in your pose and hold it until the music begins again.

Language Arts- Write each spelling word one time then underline each vowel and circle each consonant . Vowels (a,e,i,o,u) Consonant all other letters.
- An Adjective is a word that describes a noun or pronoun. Look up 5 adjectives online and use each one in a sentence.
- Read "Two Foolish Brothers"
- Write two sentences describing why the brothers were unhappy at the end of the story.

Language Arts- Have a family member or guardian give you a spelling test of the words you have studied this week-(No Peeking)
- Complete your published paper of your Native American Report as shown below in *Social Studies
IMPORTANT: Have your parents take a picture of your test and email it to your teacher. They need to be turned in by 12:00 noon on Friday. There will be 2 or 3 tests every week. Please send pictures of your favorite art project of the week! You may be in the picture if you wish, but only if your parents give permission to send it to your teacher. It will be posted in next weeks link to share with the class and may turn up on the El Dorado website in a video presentation!
