Good evening from UKSA (11.15pm to be precise!). Well...what a day! Today was definitely the group's favourite day so far, and with good reason! The children all had a good night's sleep last night and woke up fairly refreshed. After breakfast, and squeezing into those lovely wetsuits once more, two groups took a short drve to Thorness Bay to windsurf while the other two groups stayed behind to kayak. Both activities were thoroughly enjoyed by all and the children are becoming visibly more resilient, confident, brave and supportive of each other. Lunch time was awash with excited talk about the next activities and before long, one group went off to do windsurfing while the other group did stand up paddle boarding. As with the morning, both groups had an amazing time and the photos and videos just don't do the excitement, the happiness and the thrill the children showed when learning something new and getting better at it...the same can't quite be said about Mr Dutton and his windsurfing efforts...he tried - we'll leave it at that - ask his group for more information...
Dinner was great again and the evening activity was a short walk into Cowes town where the instructors took the children to the beach and played games for the evening. Overall, a wonderful day and we're all looking forward to our last full day tomorrow.
