This term has seen us focus on being caring and open-minded learners. We have explore what these mean in school assemblies, through storytelling and when discussing and learning about different cultures and celebrations. Our students have truly taken on board our mantra of Choose to be kind and have shown themselves to be caring and respectful citizens.
During the holidays, please continue to use ClassDojo to share with us any action or home learning that happens. Please also share with us your family celebrations over this festive period.
Next term we will have two new learner profile attributes to focus on. They will be communicator and thinker.
Please keep a look out for our special Ask me how stickers to talk with your children about how they have shown the attributes in school.
More details on what these attributes look like will be shared in the new term.
Learning about careers and inspiring our children is a key part of each of our units of inquiry. During each unit, our staff carefully plan visits, visitors and activities to expose children to a range of careers to help raise aspirations. This term we have learnt about architects, museum curators, archaeologists, electricians, pilots, doctors and MPs.
Next term, we would like to begin inviting parents and family members to share their experiences and careers with our pupils. If you would be interested in sharing your career or profession then please contact Mr Filsell via our school office - office@dartfordprimary.org.uk
