End of Term Newsletter
20th October 2023
Principal's Message:
Welcome to our end of term newsletter. What a term it has been!
There have already been an abundance of trips and experiences going on, not to mention Shaun the Sheep coming to visit! We have taken part in many sporting competitions and achieved to the best standards we have ever achieved.
It has truly been a fantastic first term and the perfect way to set the tone for the rest of the academic year. One thing that has made it extra special is the increase in engagement from our families. We can only achieve total success for our children by working together in partnership to ensure that we are on the same team and giving the same messages to our children.
There are a few reminders for the new term that I would like you to take note of.
Children should be wearing the winter uniform upon our return. This includes shirts/blouses, not polo shirts and boys are expected to wear a tie at all times, as has always been the expectation.
School starts at 08:40 (EYFS and KS1) and 08:45 (KS2). Please ensure that you are here in plenty of time to ensure that your child is in their class by this time; this is why we are opening our gates earlier at 08:30 now. We have noticed that too many children are arriving closer to 09:00 which is not setting them up for having the most successful day possible. We appreciate your support with ensuring your child is in class on time.
We hope that you enjoy finding out about all of the children's learning in this newsletter and will join us in celebrating the success of the first term.
Have a wonderful half term and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 6th November.
