End of Term 4 Newsletter

4th April 2025
As we finish another busy and rewarding term, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on all that has been achieved at the academy.
It has been a term full of personal development opportunities for our pupils and I am incredibly proud of the growth we have seen in all year groups. For example, Year 1 children had an exciting and educational trip to the Natural History Museum, where they explored the wonders of the natural world. Meanwhile, our Year 6 pupils visited the Battle of Britain Memorial and gained a deeper understanding of history and the bravery of those who served. These trips are just a small example of the invaluable learning experiences that will stay with the children for years to come.
In addition to these memorable outings, our football teams have had a fantastic time representing the academy in various tournaments. It has been inspiring to see the dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship shown by all involved; the hard work of our players has been truly impressive.
As always, I encourage you to visit the class pages within this newsletter to learn more about your child(ren)’s learning and the exciting activities they have taken part in this term. There is always so much to celebrate and it is wonderful to see the children thriving in all aspects of their education.
I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the recent Ofsted inspection. We are incredibly proud of our whole community, especially our pupils, who demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, resilience, and determination throughout. I would also like to express my gratitude to all parents/carers who took the time to respond to the survey. We are thrilled to share that 93% of respondents would recommend the academy to others, which is an incredible testament to the hard work of everyone involved.
As you know, we sometimes have to say goodbye to members of the staff team at the end of a term as they move on to adventures new. We will be sad to say goodbye to Mrs South (Year 1 LSA) and Miss Murrell (Year 5 LSA). We wish them all the best for the future.
I wish you all a wonderful Easter break and look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday 22nd April.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
