NAME OF COURSE: AP Literature & Composition

COURSE CODE: CA813

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

• You will learn how to write, period. You will learn how to write sentences, journals, theses, essays, college essays, even poetry, and all of the different punctuation marks you can imagine (colons, semicolons, tricolons).

• We will read novels, poetry and plays from a wide range of voices.

• We will take the AP Literature test, but you will shine and learn study skills beyond the test, like time management, critical thinking, mental health practices, public speaking, and writing under pressure.

• We will put together a portfolio of your writing work reflecting on how you've grown throughout the course.
