This course is a student-driven, project-based course designed to engage learners in inquiry and exploration of ecological systems, human and environmental interactions, and sustainable solutions.  This course will emphasize real-world applications, systems thinking, and community-based problem solving and students will participate in local and global case studies, authentic data collection and collaborative projects to apply scientific concepts to pressing issues.  This course may include a capstone project, integration of primary scientific literature and partnerships with community organizations.
