Chorus

Welcome to KMS Chorus!

Chorus is a group vocal music course where we learn to sing, read music, do choreography, and express ourselves through song! We sing all types of music, from classical, to folk, to pop, and everything in between! Choir is a great way to make new friends, and to learn about new music and different cultures of singing around the world!

Why Chorus at KMS?

There's No Prior Experience Necessary!

Whether you've been singing since you were born, or if you've yet to find your singing voice, you are welcome in Chorus! Everyone is welcome!

Performances!

We have lots of opportunities to perform, both at KMS, and for other events in the community! We even travel to cities like Flagstaff, AZ and Anaheim, CA (Disneyland) for choir tours, as well as perform in Choral festivals!

Fun!

Not only do we get to make music together every day, choirs who get along well, sound better. So we place a heavy emphasis on community building within the Chorus program. This upcoming year we plan on hosting events such as after-school Choir Retreats and Choir parties to help Chorus members have fun and make friends outside of the school rehearsal atmosphere!

All of the Chorus classes singing at our Winter Chorus Concert! We had so much fun collaborating with the American Sign Language teachers learning to sign along with our singing!

How Far I'll Go

All of the Chorus classes together singing “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana at our Fall Chorus Concert! We sing all types of music, from Disney, to Debussy!

Durme Durme.AVI

Durme, Durme

This is our 7th and 8th grade Chorus Class singing a lullaby called “Durme, Durme”. They are singing in Ladino- an ancient language with elements of Spanish and Hebrew.
