Multimedia is the use of text, graphics, animation, sound, video, and Web to tell a story. In this class, we will us multimedia elements in the design process to tell our story. The story of us as individuals, KMS students, and humans doing important things in this great world.

What story will you tell?

This course covers multimedia concepts and applications using text, graphics, animation, sound, video, Web, and various multimedia applications in the design, development, and creation of multimedia. Students will create multimedia presentations and publications within an interactive environment. Students will create a digital portfolio of independent projects.

• Page layout - Design brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials, including materials that advertise KMS events

• Photo editing - Take your own photographs and edit them to utilize the best lighting, angles, and more

• Web design - Design a website portfolio of your own work

• Programming - Code your own animation

• Graphic design - Examine popular logos and design your own timeless masterpiece

• Video creation - Create your own stop motion video

• Global digital citizenship - Continue your journey as a responsible global citizen
