After high school, Taylor plans to study at the University of Oklahoma with a major in Journalism and minor in the German language. His advice for students hoping to earn the Seal of Biliteracy includes immersing yourself in the language through YouTube videos, listening to music, and finding apps to practice such as the Tandem Language App which helps the learner to engage with native speakers.

When asked about his favorite memory from German class, he said it was Frau Getz's birthday party when he made a scrumptious cake! For Taylor, being biliterate means "being bilingual since I started learning languages. Spanish didn't seem appealing, so I took German and the rest is history." He plans to continue learning the language with the ultimate goal of becoming a sports announcer. His dream is to broadcast in English and German and to hopefully connect with players in their first language of German, perhaps even venturing to German speaking countries.
