Pay Range: $18/ hour
Overview: Kamehameha Schools is seeking a reliable and adaptable Student Aide to support the Po‘o Kula Office with switchboard coverage, clerical tasks, and general administrative assistance. This temporary part‑time role (approximately 15 hours or less per week through June 30, 2027) provides valuable hands‑on experience in an office environment while helping ensure smooth daily operations. It is well‑suited for individuals who enjoy organization, communication, and supporting a fast‑paced team. Current KSK students in grades 10–11 are encouraged to apply, as this position offers an excellent opportunity to build professional skills and serve the KS community.
Assists in the program as needed to include but not limited to assisting with clerical duties, snacks or lunches, student supervision and running errands. May assist in the classroom, during outdoor activities, in the dining hall, on field trips, in the Summer School office, etc.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the requirements listed.
Good organizational skills required to prepare program materials on a scheduled basis and to juggle multiple duties.
Flexibility and ability to adjust to changing environments necessary to assist wherever needed in the program.
Ability to work well with students and other program staff.
Ability and desire to work with school-aged children.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of computers and applications.
Experience with similarly aged children.
Valid drivers’ license.
Knowledge of and sensitivity to Hawaiian culture and Christian values.

Position Summary: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Youth Aide works directly with the Youth Director, Site Coordinator, and/or Youth Leader to provide a supportive, safe, caring, enriching, and positive environment that welcomes and respects all individuals, promotes the potential of all youth, and provides a quality experience to both youth and their families. Youth Aides are responsible for complying and adhering to all standards, policies, and procedures set by the YMCA of Honolulu, DOE, and other agencies associated with YMCA Childcare and DOE A+ Afterschool Programs.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
Assists Youth Leaders in the overall program operation and supervision of participants while adhering to program policies and standard operating procedures.
Communicate effectively, consistently, and professionally with participants, parents, co-workers, and others associated with the program such as DOE and DHS contacts.
Helps to implement curriculum by leading age-developmentally-appropriate learning experiences in the classroom or group settings, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the children assigned as well as all other children in the program that may not be overseen directly.
Serve as a role model by relating to program participants through respect and understanding, being sensitive to each child’s needs, and providing guidance toward positive youth development.
Work toward a team spirit and effort among the staff, children, and others associated with the program.
Assume responsibility to ensure all facilities, equipment, and supplies at the site are maintained/good/organized/clean.
Ensure that all staff and participants are respectful of facility/property, and all of their rules and expectations are followed.
Wears the required nametag, and is neat, clean, and professional in appearance in accordance with the required dress code.
Exemplifies the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Diversity.
Attend all general and site-specific staff meetings/ training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview: The Athletics Student Aide supports the game-day operations of the athletics department by assisting with a variety of logistical, and event-related tasks. This role provides valuable experience in a dynamic high school athletic setting.
Essential Functions:
· Assist with athletic events, including setup, breakdown, and event support
· Support staff with facility upkeep or preparation
· Provide general logistical assistance as needed
Position Requirements:
· Must be a currently enrolled student in good academic standing
· Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to follow instructions
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
· Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience in athletics, recreation, or customer service roles
· Interest in athletic administration, sports medicine, or event management
· Familiarity with basic office software and tools
