Hyperlinks, or Hyperdoc, have two basic parts: the address (URL) of the webpage and the display text. Links can be embedded into almost all text in applications from the Google Suite by simply highlighting the text and pressing Ctrl+K on a PC or Command+K on a Mac. Pressing this key command will open a dialog box where you can paste in the address (URL) of the website or video link you wish to include in your document. After you attach the link, the text will become an active link to the source you have included. A "Hyperdoc" can also be used as a LMS. Here is an example of what that could look like

Google Sites can be used as a LMS (Learning Management System) which can be used as a primary landing spots for your students to get content, resources and direction from you. Here are some samples of what using Google Site as an LMS can look like.

Screencastify is an easy-to-use tool for screencasting, which can be accessed via your K12 Google account (click here to install fhe Chrome extension). Eric Curts video and resources will help you get started with screen and audio recording. Here is a great starting tutorial as well.
**NOTE: By default, Screencastify limits recordings to five minutes in length. To increase this limit when creating an account, be sure to enter CAST_COVID in the "Redeem Coupon" field, then click "Activate License".
