Chrome extensions are extra features that you can add to your browser to make it do more things. They are created using web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which are the same languages used to build websites. Staff and students can use extensions to customize their browsing experience and access various features that can help them in their work. For example, extensions can help educators block distracting ads, capture screenshots of web pages, translate foreign words, and more.
Staff and students can browse, install, and manage approved extensions from the Chrome Web Store. You will only see the approved extensions.
All extensions are blocked by default until they are approved. Before approval, they need to be checked to make sure that they have a legitimate educational purpose, are not harmful, and are not collecting unnecessary information. If you want to use an extension that is not currently approved, please complete the form below.
The Google Workspace Marketplace is a place where you can find and install apps that work with Google Workspace products, such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and Google Meet. These apps can help you do more things with your Google Workspace account, such as manage your projects, create documents, and communicate with others. Some of the apps are made by Google, and some are made by other developers who want to share their solutions with Google Workspace users.
Similar to Chrome Extensions, workspace apps are blocked by default and must be approved. If you want to use an extension that is not currently approved, please complete the form below.
