GETTING A NEW PHONE?????
The link below has information about changing phones and setting up your multi-factor authentication on your new phone.
When you get a new phone DO NOT WIPE YOUR OLD PHONE before setting up the NEW ONE. You will need it to receive your MFA (multi-factor authentication) notice. But if you SET UP an ADDITIONAL VERIFICATION METHOD (it can just text you and not use the app on your phone) then this will not be a problem. ADD your phone number to mysignins.microsoft.com NOW to avoid the headaches after you buy a new phone. If you cannot access the authenticator app or your KCS accounts using any of the directions on this page you can call the Help Desk during business hours at 865-594-1830. You can also put a ticket into IIQ and have them call you - remember to put your cell phone number in the ticket so they can call!
USING "MYSIGNINS.MICROSOFT.COM"
Once you are logged into "mysignins.microsoft.com" look for SECURITY INFO on the left and then CLICK - ADD SIGN-IN METHOD and PICK PHONE - then type in your CELL PHONE number - it will TEXT you a CODE - type in the CODE and you are DONE! Remember if you have trouble over the break you can put a ticket in IIQ or call 865-594-1830 during business hours.
