Purpose: Participants will approach the idea of differentiation of language from an asset-based perspective, collaborate to customize instruction for ELLs utilizing the WIDA ELD framework.

Founded in October 2000 by Kathie Wells, a local real estate agent. Made up of individuals, the local business community, churches, other nonprofit organizations, parents, students and teachers offered their support for this program.
CHS is run completely by volunteers and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Donations go directly from the community donor to the teacher and students.
Our own SHELLY ANDREWS, counselor from Kailua HS, leads parenting groups for teens and can also come to your schools to host parent talks :
