Our next Windward District Family Engagement meeting is Feb. 4th. We are looking forward to exploring more local resources for Parent Education and having representatives from the Windward District CTE Team teach us how to expand our skills around communicating with families though social media.

FREE Hawaiian Language Classes!
Beginning Spring Semester of 2020, year all HIDOE employees will be able to take free introductory Hawaiian language courses through a partnership between our Office of Hawaiian Education (OHE) and the University of Hawai‘i Community Colleges (UHCC).
Introductory courses are offered at all seven UHCC campuses and in a variety of formats.
Please refer to the enrollment procedure guide before taking steps to enroll in courses as there are specific instructions to follow in order to benefit from this opportunity.

Must be able to participate in monthly meetings (1-3 hours) & occasional halfday or all-day meetings 2-3 times per year Participants will receive a monetary stipend for participation in all meetings
