I came to Kildonan Community Church in August of 2016. Prior to KCC, I was serving at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Nanaimo BC as their minister for eight years. That is all the church experience that I have. Prior to being "called" into church ministry, I was involved in the 'High Tech' industry for over 20 years in various capacities from technical to marketing and business development. I also taught electronics (circuit design) at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario.

I am happily married to my wife, Uta, for 33 years. We have three grown children living and studying back in Ontario. Uta is my best friend and she makes my life incredibly easy to live; she truly is a gift of God to me. She often says the same about me so, I guess it is a match made in heaven.

We are also foster parents. We enjoy the fact that God has called us to this ministry, and that we can lovingly support kids as their parent(s) deal with challenges. To be honest, I get a great deal out of being a foster parent and feel blessed to be able to be part of this. It keeps us young and in tune with the struggles of real life out there.
