Whole Group instruction options
Use Khan Academy Kids with the whole class during Circle Time. Khan Kids has thousands of interactive lessons, stories, and videos for whole-group instruction. Consider aligning your lessons to your school pacing guide using your standards.
If you have a Smartboard or other board or projector, you can project your device's screen to the class. While Khan Kids is incompatible with interactive whiteboards, teachers can share their device's screen to get students moving and learning. Whole group activity suggestions
Select a book from the Reading tab.
Read the book with your class, answering Kodi’s questions!
Select a lesson to work through as a class. Call students up to try inputting answers on your device (by creating a "test" student to demo with) or a students' device.
Project an academic video to the class. Use the video as an introduction to your in-class lesson or activity.
Get kids moving by projecting a dynamic video from Super Simple Songs®. Follow instructions and dance to favorites like Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes!
