If your school uses Clever for rostering, your students will automatically be added to your Khan Kids account. You'll need to select the class(es) you'd like to onboard so that students can begin using the app.
Visit your teacher dashboard and click on "Sign in with Clever"
You may be prompted to complete an onboarding process.
For returning teachers, you may see your previous students. Please click your class name in the top right of the screen and select "add class" to get your new class to appear.
Click "Start"
Select the class you want to use Khan Kids*
Your roster will be added to your dashboard
Click "Done" to return to your dashboard
*Please note if you see multiple sections (i.e., math, reading, etc) but only teach one group of students, you should only select one section. If you teach multiple groups of students (i.e. morning class and afternoon class), select both groups.
Once you return to your dashboard, you will see your students populated under the Students tab on the left-hand side. You can customize your students' avatars and change their assigned grade level by clicking "edit" to the right of the student name.
If you get new students throughout the year, you may need to sign out and back into your Khan Kids account to sync your roster.
Now your students will be able to log in to use Khan Academy Kids! Follow these steps to get them started.
