CUHK PGT typically runs three series of courses each year. The dates below are approximate and may vary each year. Please see the CUHK website for exact dates, and pay attention to the details on this page for the KGV internal application deadlines.
Winter Program (applications in September/October for courses in December to February)
Spring Program (applications in December/January for courses in April to June)
Summer Program (applications in April/May for courses in July to August)
The CUHK Winter Programme 2025 (2025WIN) runs from 20th December 2025 to 28th February 2026.
The application deadline for students is Monday 29th September 2025. Students must submit their application (Form 1) themselves to CUHK online.
If students have previously taken part in a CUHK PGT programme before, they do not need to also submit the School Recommendation Form (Form 2).
If students have not previously taken part in a CUHK PGT programme before, they must also request a School Recommendation Form (Form 2).
Forward your CUHK application confirmation email to KGV External Extension by 3pm on Monday 29th September 2025, and state which course(s) you have applied for, e.g. "WIN-P04 Interesting Mathematics in Visual Arts". This is to allow sufficient time to collect feedback from your teachers.
Ms. Hitchings will collect feedback from your teachers and submit the Form 2 directly to CUHK.
Late applications will not be accepted as there will not be enough time to collect feedback from your teachers or complete our paperwork.
CUHK will require you to complete an in-person written assessment in Oct 2025 (decided by CUHK). See their website for more details.
Please pay attention to the language that each course will be delivered in, as the majority are run in Chinese, not English.
