Unique Documentation

Below are some of the photos from my experience. The first couple of photos indicate a before and after of the alphabetizing I did of over 200 VHS tapes from various college events. Next are some original, handwritten journals from George Harvey Ball's nieces. Lastly is a photo of a dumpster (don't fret!) In order to make room for the writing center to move into the bottom of the library, we needed to make space. The librarians were careful to look at how often we used some of our academic journals. We were able to find a lot of volumes that are either irrelevant or useless, (think of how much science has changed in the last 20 years..... we have journals from 50 years ago!) as well as some journals that are quite common. Among them also are journals in a condition that isn't usable. So we did what all libraries do, we recycled them! Now they will be turned into other things and maybe even more books one day!
