As a dual credit student it is your responsibility to be prepared to start classes. Please complete these steps prior to the start of the semester:
If you are a first time Gateway student you will need to complete set-up of your User Account.
Go here for directions. If you have issues you will need to call Gateway at 859-346-4282.
Go here for the User Account Center logon page.
Go to Gateway's homepage and then MyPath to check your GCTC schedule, Blackboard (online course content), email and bill.
DO NOT PAY YOUR GATEWAY BILL - GCTC will not drop dual credit students from their classes for non-payment. You will want to wait until after the Dual Credit / Work Ready Scholarship process is complete before paying any outstanding balances. You will be notified when it is time to complete the Scholarship process. Reminder - Only grade 11 & 12 students are eligible to use the dual credit (general ed classes) scholarship.
Check your GCTC email regularly. If you are not going to do this please consider forwarding your GCTC email to another account. Directions can be found here.
If you are taking in person classes and are transporting yourself, make sure you are aware of which campus your class(es) are at - GCTC has 3 main campuses: Mt. Zion/Boone Campus, Urban Metro/Covington Campus and the Edgewood Campus. It is a good idea to visit the campus before the day of your first class.
