What do my charges / credits mean?
How do I know when my balance is accurate and I should go ahead and pay my bill?
KCTCS Mandatory Fees Charge - dual credit students do not pay fees; you should see this charged and then you will also see it credited
Distance Learning Fee - you may see this charge if you are taking an online course; dual credit students do not pay fees so you should also see this credited
Gateway Tuition / Learn by Term - this is the regular price of tuition before it is adjusted for the dual credit rate
KCTCS Dual Credit Waiver - this is not a scholarship but an adjustment of the tuition price to account for the dual credit rate high school students receive
KY Dual Credit Scholarship - this is a credit for your tuition if you are using a dual credit scholarship to cover a general education course; this will show only after Gateway & KHEAA process the scholarship
Work Ready KY Scholarship - this is a credit for your tuition if you are using a work ready scholarship to cover an eligible work ready course; this will show only after Gateway & KHEAA process the scholarship
Digital Content Charge - this may have a name next to it like McGraw Hill / Cengage; this is a charge for a digital textbook; students are responsible for all textbook charges
