Create two "I Am" poems using information from the textbook (one assigned, the second your choice of character)
Follow rubric: Include all 18 lines, try to reflect the character's thoughts and feelings, be original, must be neat, Include color and illustrations, use correct spelling and grammar.
Total Possible Points: 20
Grading Scale Example:
18–20 = A (Exceeds)
15–17 = B (Meets)
12–14 = C (Approaching)
0–11 = D/F (Beginning)
EXTRA CREDIT option: Dress as your character Monday when you present your poem for up to 20 extra added points!
