Ms. Aslam

Assalam wa alaikum! I am Ms. Aslam and I am new to Kauri Flats School.

I am originally from Fiji. I moved to Auckland in 1996 and now call New Zealand, home.

I have been teaching for 13 years. I taught at a school in Papatoetoe.

I am looking forward to seeing and working with new students and colleagues at Kauri Flats School. This year is going to be fun with lots of learning, teaching and growing!

Miss. Patterson

Kia ora, I am Miss. Patterson. I am very excited to start teaching at KFS and in Base 3.

I am originally from Whanāgrei and started my teaching journey in the Waikato. I had a year teaching overseas and seeing Europe before coming back to Waikato for another couple of years. Then moved to Auckland in 2021 to work as a Sports Coordinator in many schools around South Auckland. During this time, I worked with KFS and decided to come back to teaching.

I am very excited to be apart of your child's learning journey this year, supporting and celebrating their development. It is going to be a fantastic year filled with wonderful learning and fun.

Mrs. Roberts

Hello everyone, I am Mrs. Roberts and I am looking forward to being back in Base 3 for 2023. I started at KFS last year as a Classroom Release Teacher and am looking forward to being one of the Base 3 teachers this year.

I have been teaching in South Auckland for 11 years now, having moved over from the UK in 2011. I am excited to share your children's academic journeys in a year that will be filled with learning and fun.

Whaea Elsie

Talofa lava! I am Whaea Elsie and I'm so excited to be back with Base 3 in 2023.

This will be my third year being a part of the KFS whānau and I have loved getting to know our vibrant community.

I am looking forward to a fun and action packed year where together we will encourage your children to do their best and celebrate all of their successes.

Ms. Bruns

Aloha mai kākou! I am Ms. Bruns and this is my second year at Kauri Flats School.

I am originally from the United States. I moved to Auckland in 2021 from Hawai'i where I have taught Years 3 and 6.

This is going to be a fantastic year with lots of learning, growing and fun! I'm looking forward to seeing both new and familiar faces.
