Previous Athletic Participation Form (or PAPF) is a UIL Texas form that must be filled out by any new student athlete who has participated in athletics in 8-12th grade at another school.
PAPFs must be completed by a biological parent
Even if the student has NOT practiced or participated in ANY extracurricular athletics in the U.S. or Mexico in 8-12th grades, they still MUST fill out the first online page of the PAPF.
The best way for a parent new to the PAPF process to complete the online form is to have a coach available to help walk them through it.
Processing can take a minimum of 3 weeks, therefore all forms need to be completed as soon as possible.
Students who come from non-UIL governed schools need to have the school’s contact information manually added once the CAC has approved their portion of the PAPF.
Under no circumstances should a coach complete the PAPF for a parent or contact the UIL.
