General Operation Fund or GOF - Yearly funds received from the district for program expenses (Use it or Lost it). 

• This fund has to be zero or positive. Maintaining a negative balance is no longer permitted. 

• If the balance of the GOF is negative, you will need to fix it by:

  • reclassifying expenses

  • requesting a transfer of funds within your budget.

Activity Fund - Revenue raised through fundraising for program expenses. 

• Carries over to the next fiscal year. 

• The available budget of an activity fund has to be zero or positive.

If the balance of the activity fund is negative, you will need to fix it by:

• • Doing a fundraiser

  • Request a donation

  • Reclassifying expenses

  • Collecting funds for lost equipment, uniforms etc.

User/Participation Fees- Program Fees collected for athlete participation must only be used for students 

• Use it or Lose it, does not carry over to the next fiscal year.
