To activate your license, please follow the directions on the right. It is REQUIRED that you go through My Katy Cloud the first time, even if you currently have an account with your Katy ISD credentials. Once you have gone through MKC once, you can access Nearpod however you like using the “Log in with Office 365” button.

In order to see a report of your students, add your Nearpod lessons directly to your student Canvas course, and NOT to the master course.

Using this method, teachers can see data and grade through Speedgrader (Canvas feature). In Canvas, students have the ability to see their own reports in “Submission Details”.
Click plus symbol in the module section
Add new assignment and name it
Open the assignment and click edit
Change “submission type” to external tool
Choose Nearpod.
Select your desired lesson as Student Paced

Using this method, teachers can add the Nearpod lesson directly within a module without having to create an assignment. Teachers can view their Nearpod reports through the Nearpod website.

Add External Tool
Find Nearpod and select it
Select your desired lesson as Student Paced
Click add item
