Joining Wifi & Signing in

When you take a Chromebook home and need to connect to a wifi, please complete the following steps:

1. Turn on Chromebook

2. At the bottom right of the screen, select the time

3. Select the Wi-Fi network

Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to the Wi-Fi.

4. Turn on Wi-Fi and you will see a list of available networks

5. Select your home Wi-Fi and enter passcode to join

6. Sign into the Chromebook

7. Username options: Student ID@students.katyisd.org and network password. Teachers will begin to type their email address and when they type @ symbol it will let them continue typing their address.
