  • Bidets are used in many countries outside the United States. Many refugee families request a bidet. An attachment can be attached to a standard toilet to provide bidet wash. The preferred brand is "Brondell Premium FreshSpa Bidet Attachment."

  • A small chest freezer is useful as the refugee parents may only be able to grocery shop one time per week.

  • NEW mattresses are preferred as there have been problems with bed bugs.

  • Metal bunk beds can be purchased from Walmart for about $150 (2019). Mattresses are sold separately.
