Mrs Broadwith will be setting up and leading learning on Mon - Wed, while Mrs Hall will be leading learning on Thurs - Fri. We will check our emails twice throughout the day - morning tea time and at lunch - should you need any help.

Write down the following spelling words in your notebook:
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune,
Practice these words by: saying it - sounding it out - spelling it - writing it - checking it
Create
Draw a planet and hide all these words somewhere in the picture. Check you have spelt them correctly and then colour in the planet

Post your completed picture on your blog or send a picture in an email to your teacher.

We are learning to: understand and explain how night and day occurs
You will need: a torch, a globe, bluetack and a small object the size of a marble.
What to do: 1. Find New Zealand on the globe.
Using the bluetack, attach the small object to the location. Shine the torch on your location. Then, rotate the globe anticlockwise. • Remember to hold the torch still.
Fill in the missing words:
