On January 26, the second graders went to each classroom and talked about groundhog day. They asked each student to vote on whether or not they think the groundhog will see his shadow. We tallied the votes and created a bar graph for each grade to show the results. On Monday, February 2, we found out that the groundhog saw his shadow and we will have 6 more weeks of winter. We read a story about groundhogs and made a groundhog puppet.
