Accelerated Reading Program

Groovy Readers" is our theme for our AR Reading Challenge. As students read books, take Accelerated Reading (AR) tests, they earn points. When they earn 5 points, students get to pick out of the treasure book, have their picture taken, and earn a little butterfly to put under their Butterfly. After students earn 5 points, their next goal is 10, then 15, then 20, etc. After each 5 point interval, they pick out of the treasure box, get their picture taken, and earn another butterfly.

At 20, 40, 60, 80 points, students get to pick out of the stuffed animal treasure box. At 100 points, they receive an extra special prize.
