The last two weeks before Christmas, we have a Christmas Days. Each day is a new Christmas topic. We have a packet, listen to a story, and have a Christmas activity to do with each topic.
Monday, December 8, was Penguin Day. We listened to the story Tacky the Penguin, drew a penguin, and had goldfish for a snack!
Tuesday, December 9, was Christmas Carol Day. We read about the history of Christmas Carols, sand Chirstmas Carols, and had hot chocolate for a snack!
Wednesday, December 10, was Gingerbread Day. We made Gingerbread houses out of stickers. We had Gingerbread cookies for a snack. We also listened to the story, The Gingerbread Girl.
Thursday, December 11 was Candy Cane Day. We did an experiment on which liquid (hot water, cold water, pop, and oil) would dissolve a candy cane the faster. We drew pictures of our experiment a different time intervals. In the end, we found that hot water dissolved it the fastest and oil didn't dissolve it at all. We listened to the story Candy Cane Lane and had a Candy Cane for a snack. (I forgot to take pictures)
