Accidents Happen. We get it. Liquid was spilled on the keyboard and now the keys are sticky or not working, a key was popped off accidentally, something got stuck in the headphone jack. Have a look at the solutions below to see if any of the tips can get you back up and using your Chromebook.
Are the speakers muted, or is the volume very low? To UnMute press the Volume UP button. Websites such as YouTube have a built in volume/Mute control.
Is anything plugged into the headphone jack, or is there a bluetooth audio device connected? This can mute all sound.
Built in speakers and Headphones have different controls. Even if you unmuted the headphones, the speakers can still be muted.
Additional support required - Chromebook will need service, contact you teacher/school to get a loaner.
Limit the number of tabs open in Google Chrome
Check keyboard layout (US EN) (CTRL + Space Bar will switch language)
Do not attempt to remove debris from the headphone jack

NOTE: Scanning is NOT supported on a Chromebook - BUT your Printer/Scanner MIGHT be able to scan to Google Drive. See your Manufacture for help setting that up.
