SĀmoa

The independent nation of Sāmoa and the US territory of American Sāmoa are located about 2,500 miles south-southwest of Hawaii. The population of Sāmoa is about 200,000 and American Sāmoa is about 56,000. Sāmoa and American Sāmoa share a common culture. There are approximately 160 Sāmoan students at Waipahu High School.
