Bilingual School-Home Assistants
The Leeward District is served by several Bilingual School-Home Assistants (BSHAs). The BSHAs are a valuable resource and provide important services including translation of school documents, interpretation at meetings, parent outreach, cultural awareness, and more. Their language skills and cultural knowledge help our school connect with our students' parents and the Waipahu community.
To request the services of a BSHA, make a copy of the BSHA request form, fill it out, and email it to Jeremiah Brown. When the service is completed, fill out the bottom of the form and send it to the BSHA and Leeward District EL Resource Teacher Jamie Yoshida.
