My own description of the flavor here

First Impressions:
The initial aroma is both earthy and pungent. It really reminds me of a cross between Choffy's Ecuador and Ivory Coast roasts. Oh wow, but the flavor is really different! It's kind of tart, and I can see where the plum, apricot and walnut all come in. I guess per their description, "tannic" also seems accurate. I wouldn't really call it chocolatey, and I'm not picking up on the caramel in it. It's really interesting, and I kind of like it for how different it is. Adding some vanilla almond milk to it, it brings out the chocolate flavor a bit more, but also a little bit of the toasty marshmallow flavor that I get with the Anakin blend. But even with that going on, it keeps its tartness.
