First Impressions:
The initial aroma is dark and pungent, and kind of sharp, almost fruity. I'm not sure how to describe the flavor. It's a little bit like Choffy's Ecuador varieties, but not quite. It's kind of chocolatey, and the flavor is definitely milder than the aroma, which is I think is part of what's throwing me off. It has a little bit of a sour note to it. Adding just a little bit of vanilla almond milk to it, it brings out the chocolate flavor, but also a sharper fruity flavor that vaguely reminds me of cherries.
