Anchor Performance Targets

  • Ensure literacy for all 3rd grade students at grade level or above.
  • Overall proficiency above and increasing by 1% in state average in math, language arts, and science. On RISE/ASPIRE + assessments.
  • All students demonstrate a MGP growth score of 40 on RISE/ASPIRE+ math, language arts, science assessments.
  • All secondary students at 90% attendance, 3.0 GPA, No failing grades.
  • JHS students score a composite minimum of 18 on the ACT.
  • 100% graduation rate.

Early Learning

  • Collaborate with Local Preschool Providers (LPP’s) to establish a Community-based Preschool Council.
  • Draft a long-term plan to increase early learning options for 5 and 6-year olds; study current research outcomes and evidence; examine multiple models.
  • Refine and revise district instructional frameworks to ensure a strong foundation in evidence-based practices for the acquisition of early literacy and numeracy skills, as well as the development of appropriate SEL skills.
  • Adopt and implement evidence-based literacy, numeracy and SEL curriculum materials and assessments in grades K-5; provide robust training and ongoing support for principals, teachers, instructional coaches, and PBIS skills coaches.
  • Develop a systematic, data-driven intervention model that provides multiple tiers of instructional support, informed by accurate, timely progress monitoring and focused on meeting the needs of each learner.
  • Foster a climate in each school that focuses on meeting the needs of the whole child.
