Recently in Mrs. Muller's Honors Physics class, the seniors participated in an egg drop competition. Take a look!
Johan Cabrera and Allison Lopez with their model.
Madison Laiche with her prototype. Madison and Hayden Beard made it to the final round of the egg drop.
Austin Ackel, Andrew Martinez, Mark Johnson, Ricardo Sequeira, and Samuel Smith were so excited to do the egg drop contest.
Austin Ackel and Andrew Martinez were very excited to see that their egg did not crack when dropped from the tower. Great teamwork!
Mrs. Muller's Chemistry class recently worked in the lab testing electron light emission spectrums. This occurs when energy is added to the elements in the form of heat. Then, the electrons move into an "excited state" and fall back to a "ground state" repeatedly. As they do so, they emit the energy they absorbed and then released as light, and the light changes colors based on the element. It is like a fingerprint for the elements as it can be used to identify them.
