I am a graduate of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. I received my Bachelor's Degree in 2016, my Master's Degree in 2020 and I am currently pursuing my MAT. When I am not educating amazing scholars or doing homework, I enjoy cooking, watching sports, binge watching series and spending time with family, friends and my wonderful God-Children. This year will be my second year in the classroom. This year, I will be teaching 5th grade Literacy and Social Studies at our Dupree campus until we combine in January! My name is Kristan Angel. I am the 5th grade ELA teacher. My husband Charles and I have five kids. Chloe just graduated from Cabot High School where she was cheer captain and an honors graduate. Van is a senior this year, and plays football and basketball for Cabot. We also have Xury who is a junior, Sydni who is a 7th grader, and Hanna Kate who is a 4th grader. We have three dogs, a huge St Bernard mix named Hank, a pug named Quincy, and my sweet chihuahua named China. I love to travel. I LOVE the ocean. I love to read. I love to learn, and I love to shop. I am going to school to get my specialist degree in Reading, and I hope to get a doctorate some day when my kids aren't keeping me so busy. My whole family loves to go watch the OKC Thunder play basketball, even our 9 yr girl! My favorite player is Steven Adams. My favorite things are flavored waters, colored sharpies, notepads with magnets on the back, and coffee.
