Jacksonville Elementary School - Fifth Grade

Hello Scholars, Parents, Family and JNPSD Friends!! I am Ms. Khadejah Willis. I am from Homer, Louisiana. I have been living in Arkansas for 9 years. I am a graduate of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. I received my Bachelor's Degree in 2016, my Master's Degree in 2020 and I am currently pursuing my MAT. When I am not educating amazing scholars or doing homework, I enjoy cooking, watching sports, binge watching series and spending time with family, friends and my wonderful God-Children. This year will be my second year in the classroom. This year, I will be teaching 5th grade Literacy and Social Studies at our Dupree campus until we combine in January! My name is Kristan Angel. I am the 5th grade ELA teacher. My husband Charles and I have five kids. Chloe just graduated from Cabot High School where she was cheer captain and an honors graduate. Van is a senior this year, and plays football and basketball for Cabot. We also have Xury who is a junior, Sydni who is a 7th grader, and Hanna Kate who is a 4th grader. We have three dogs, a huge St Bernard mix named Hank, a pug named Quincy, and my sweet chihuahua named China. I love to travel. I LOVE the ocean. I love to read. I love to learn, and I love to shop. I am going to school to get my specialist degree in Reading, and I hope to get a doctorate some day when my kids aren't keeping me so busy. My whole family loves to go watch the OKC Thunder play basketball, even our 9 yr girl! My favorite player is Steven Adams. My favorite things are flavored waters, colored sharpies, notepads with magnets on the back, and coffee.

My name is Damien Penn and I am the 5th Grade math teacher at Warren Dupree! This will be my 4th year of teaching. I enjoy playing basketball and spending time with my family.

Hello! My name is Sharla Caldwell, and I'm teaching 5th grade math and science at Jacksonville Elementary School (Pinewood campus) this year. This is my third year teaching, but my first year at JNPSD. I'm so excited to be a Titan!! I hold a Bachelors of Science in Communication/Public Relations and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I have been married for 22 years and have three beautiful daughters, ages 16, 14, and 11. We also have five pets (two dogs, a guinea pig, a rat, and a snake!), so it's a bit of a zoo at our house! I love to read, swim, spend time with friends and family, play games, travel, and eat! I am so excited to meet all my students and get our school year started. It's going to be an AMAZING year!!!
