When a student experiences a problem or situation that makes it difficult for them to focus on learning, I am available to meet with them to provide support. Students may need additional support for a variety of issues, including friendship struggles, difficulty processing their emotions, academic concerns, or situations occurring at home.

When I work with individual students, my goal is to help them find healthy ways to manage their feelings and develop a plan to move forward. Due to my role within the school, my individual work with students is short-term in nature. If a student could benefit from more support than I can reasonably provide in the school setting, I will communicate with you and may suggest connecting them with our school-based therapist or other resource.
