Classroom guidance takes place every other week in every classroom at Jacksonville Elementary School. Guidance lessons are designed to be developmentally appropriate and proactive in nature. Lessons are aligned with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and Arkansas state standards with a focus on helping students maximize academic achievement, plan for the future, and develop socially and emotionally.
