  8. Describe the characteristics of covalent and ionic bonds.
  9. Describe the difference molecules and crystalline solids.
  10. Write names and formulas for ionic compounds, covalent compounds and acids.
  11. Identify important and common chemicals by their chemical name and common name.
  12. Discuss how the physical properties of a compound are affected by is structure.
