Learning Targets - This week, we will introduce our next reading unit for the year. Students will select an independent reading book that pairs with the class novel, A Long Walk to Water. We will also build background knowledge to help us better understand our novels.

This week in science we will continue our unit on Diversity of Life. After wrapping up domains last week, this week we will shift our focus to plants and the vascular system. We will learn various parts of the plant and what helps aid the process of photosynthesis. We will have a small refresher on Aerobic Cellular Respiration and compare the process to photosynthesis, understandning the cycles that occur within plants.

Social Studies: Students will work on their Feudalism Projects for pretty much the entire week. This project will be worth a large test grade, so students should put extra care into completing the assignment well .
