Learning Targets - Students will read Chs. 7-12 in LWW with a focus on imagery and symbolism in the novel and create a visual summary of the novel so far.

Learning Targets: This week, we will continue our unit on prayer. We will introduce a new memory verse (2 Chron. 7:14). Students will study when God says no, David's prayers in Psalms, and comparing prayer with a vineyard.

This week in science we will continue our unit on Diversity of Life. We will focus largely on pollinators and the process of pollination, understanding how pollinators are needed for plant reproduction and seed production. We will begin our flower research project (postponed from last week), where students will research a flower of choice, understanding its characteristics, environment, and pollinators.

Social Studies: We will begin our Islam projects on some of the key figures in the Islamic world. This will cover some of the inventors, scientists, and mathematicians. We will also finish our study on how Sunni and Shia are different.
