Learning Targets: This week, we will continue our unit on prayer. Specifically, we will discuss the need to pray for those who persecute Christians, and how Christians from all over the world deal with being persecuted by their societies or governments. We will then begin our persecution projects.

This week in science we will continue our unit on Diversity of Life. We will assess investigations 5 and 6, reviewing plant pollination, production of seeds, and seed parts. After the assessment, we will begin investigation 7, cross breeding plants with review on heredity.

Social Studies: We will review for the Islam test this week. We will then begin a new unit that will basically be a giant project. This project will be on the Byzantine Empire, and will culminate in a large class debate on the legacy of the Eastern Roman Empire.

Assessments: We will have our Islam test on Thursday, March 19. Study materials are available on Google Classroom. Students should at the very least review the short answer question and outline what they will write.
Math: In the upcoming week students will finish their unit on Probability with an assessment. Then we will do a March Madness Probability project and begin our next unit on Statistics.
